Sadolin
Hardwood Oil is a premium high quality hardwood
oil developed to offer other benefits than
those normally associated with traditional
wood protection. Sadolin Hardwood Oil absorbs
deeply into the surface of most timber species
and provides protection against the weather.
Sadolin Hardwood Oil is water repellent and
is water repellent and is especially suitable
for all exterior hardwood surfaces where a
natural appearance is required.
Sadolin Hardwood Oil is recommended for wooden
garden furniture and decks.

| Preparation
: |
Sadolin
Hardwood Oil is recommended for use on bare
timber, as well as timber surfaces which were
previously coated with other oil treatments
or timber coatings that do no provide a surface
film build e.g. preservative pre-treatments.
Ensure that the timber is clean, dry and free
from grease. Timber species that contain high
levels of natural oils or extractive (e.g.
Teak, Iroko) should be thoroughly degreased,
prior to treating with Sadolin Hardwood Oil.
Non-durable timbers located
in exterior areas should receive a preservative
pre-treatment of Sadolin Base prior to application
of Sadolin Hardwood Oil. Preservative pre-treatments
must be fully dried before the application
of Sadolin Hardwood Oil.

| Application
: |
Stir
well before and during application and apply
by brush or cloth. Do not apply at temperatures
below 5 í C Do not thin.
Apply one coat of Sadolin
Hardwood Oil and allow it to dry for 5 to
30 minutes depending on the temperature and
humidity. Remove any residues of Sadolin Hardwood
Oil, which have not been absorbed, by gently
wiping with a cloth. This will help to prevent
“glossy” blemishes on the surface.
For maximum durability,
apply at least 2 coat of Sadolin Hardwood
Oil, The colourless version is less durable
than the colour version. It is recommended
that at least one coat of Sadolin Hardwood
Oil is applied every year.

Approximately 15-18 m2/ litre
on planed wood. |
| Drying Time
: |
Touch dry : 4-6 hour.
Repainting : Subsequent coats can be applied
after 12-24 hours. |
| Cleaning : |
Clean the brushes or rollers
immediately after use in white spirit. |

Protect from frost.
Shelf life: (Unopened) at least 5 years from
production date.
