Flexicoat is a one pack roof coating. It provides
a hightly flexible waterproof coating with excellent
weather resistance. Flexicoat has long lift flexibility
and is ideally suitable for use in areas with extreme
climatic conditions. A special mould resistant version
is available for areas of hight temperature and
humidity, and a thermal version is available for
use in areas of extreme heat and cold. It is applied
by brush or sprey and after drying can be walked
open uncovered.

Flexicoat
Flexicoat is a blend of weather resistant pigments,
Fillers and acrylic ester resins.
Flexicoat Mould Resistant
Flexicoat Mould Resistant is specially formulated
for use in tropical areas of hight temperature and
humidity. It contains a premium Funggicide/Algaecide
to project the coating from microbial atteck for
up to 5 years.
Flexicoat Thermo
Flexicoat Thermo contains hollow light microspherical
filler, which upgrades the thermal insulation of
substrates over which it is applied, giving considerable
cost savings in very hot and cold countries.

| PREPARATION
OF SURFACE: |
Ensure dust, dirt and foreign matter are removed
from roof surfaces. All cracks should be made good
with TERRACO Acrylic Filler.
Before overcoating old substrates in humid tropical
areas surfaces should first be washed down with
a solution of household bleach 12 hours before recoating
to prevent the re-growth of fungi and algre.

OF USE: |

Flexicoat is designed for application on roofs constructed
for application on roofs constructed froom a wide
vaeiety of materials, i.e. concrete, light weight
concrete, roof tiles, wood, galvanised steel and
asbestos cement.

| PRIMING
: |
If substrate is porous, it is best to use Terraco
Penetrating Primer prior to Flexicoat application. |

| HEALTH
AND SAFETY : |
Avoid prolonged contact with eyes and skin. For detailed
information refer to relevent material safety data
sheet. |

| PACKAGING
AND STORAGE: |
Flexicoat is supplied in 20 ltr. Conipails and gallon
cans. Protect from extremes of temperature. Shelf
life is a minimum of 12 month in manufacture’s sealed
container. Use oldest material first. |

| APPLICATION
AND CLEANING OF TOOLS: |
Flexitex can be applied by sprey or rooler to achieve
the required texture. Apply 2 coats diluting the
required texture. Apply 2 coats diluting the first
coat with 20% of water. The second coat should not
be diluted.
All tools should be cleaned with water after use.
